WOMEN DAY 2017
In 2017 XXL Sports & Outdoor was an official partner of the woman day campaign. This campaign was displayed on our online shop landing page, all our social media channels and a newsletter was sent out to our subscribers. We agreed on a simple but attractive offer for that day: -25% on everything. The communication supposed to be clear and attract especially women but also men since there should have been no exclusions made. So what works for both genders: Attractive women doing sports in a very cool and exclusive area. NO GIRLY VIBES | STRONG WOMEN | FOCUS ON THE ESSENTIALS

Brand awareness comes with brand building. Being a sports retailer is a huge challenge nowadays because of several factors, what makes it essential to have an USP and communicate it through all channels. One of the USPs of XXL Sports & Outdoor is having the best brands for all kinds of sports. A lot of people (including myself) have preferred brands they buy, because they like the brands style and brand identity. For that reason I startet to create some kind of “shop in shop” experience integrated in the online shop page, so that the customer gets the impression of buying directly at the brands online shop and by that creating an attractive and authentic buying platform.
